The Ghost of Somebody I’ll Never Be is a high energy powerpop song that explores the idea of seeing the version of yourself you wanted to be before life decided it had different plans for you.

Inside the Mirror is a more cerebral take that slowly builds as the narrator feels trapped by their own reflection. Are they in control of their destiny or are their movements carefully coordinated from the other side of the glass?

The Hazy Rays

The Hazy Rays are a retro-inspired power pop quartet out of Jamestown, NY. The group was originally formed with the intent of bringing select songs from the discography of singer-songwriter Mike Brunacini to the stage; however, after several months of rehearsal, the band eventually began to incorporate the wide variety of musical backgrounds and influences of its members into a unique blend of collectively composed originals. The Hazy Rays’ music centers heavily on the themes of nostalgia for days gone by, a healthy skepticism for the future, and extreme introspection; but deliver all of this with a surprisingly upbeat twist of musicality.
